The the First Amendment of the Constitution clearly states Congress shall pass no laws giving any respect to any religion or any representation under the law for any religion how did Christmas become a national holiday because Christmas is without  any doubt   a Christian holiday and the people of the United States of America can freely celebrate Christmas the government of the United States absolutely cannot that means government employees wearing uniforms on-duty collecting a paycheck from the taxpayer representing the government of the United States cannot go out and collect for charities under the flag of the United States on duty that is a disgrace to the United States and a slap in the face to the people of the United States because most of those personnel are paid to uphold the Constitution not violated
